Teen Choice Awards 2017 se desarrolló en Los Ángeles (California, EE.UU). con una decimonovena edición que premió a las estrellas gracias a las votaciones de los jóvenes consumidores de música, cine y televisión.

El evento, que duró dos horas, se realizó a las 7:00 p.m. (hora peruana) y fue transmitido este año a través de Warner Channel. Tú fuiste parte de él votando por tus artistas favoritos usando el hashtag de la categoría elegida, junto con el nombre del nominado. Esto a través de la página oficial y las redes sociales.

Hace unas semanas, Teen Choice Awards 2017 reveló su lista de nominados, en la que encontramos un interesante duelo de amor-odio. Selena Gomez a la cabeza de todos, pero muy cerca de ella se encontraba Justin Bieber.

La intérprete de 'Bad Liar' tuvo en total nueve nominaciones en los Teen Choice Awards 2017, mientras que Justin Bieber fue por siete. Así, cualquiera de ellos pudo ser el máximo ganador de la gala, aunque no muy atrás se presentaron fieros rivales.

Justin Bieber figuró en una categoría nueva, creada recién en esta edición de los Teen Choice Awards 2017, llamada ‘Choice Latin Song’. A ella llegó como seguro ganador con el remix de ‘Despacito’, canción que hoy por hoy es la más sonada en todo el mundo.

Fueron más de 40 categorías, en cada una de ellas se presentó a más de un favorito, así que este año estuvo muy reñido para todos. La conducción estuvo a cargo del youtuber mexicano Andrés Navy, quien realizó presentaciones y entrevistas a los artistas.

LA CEREMONIA

Los Teen Choice iniciaron con una presentación de Logan Paul, quien fue el encargado de abrir el espectáculo con un video pre grabado que anunciaba las presentaciones en vivo de la noche.

Luego de ello, Lucy Hale y Janel Parrish recibieron un premio, las famosas ‘tablas de surf’. Las chicas representaron a 'Riverdale' y ganaron 'Mejor Serie de Drama'.

Este año, esta celebración realizó un concurso dentro de los EE.UU. donde una persona pudo llevarse una de estas tablas al descrifrar unos códigos brindados. Esperamos que para el próximo año, esta oportunidad sea ampliada para toda Latinoamérica. Así, tú también pudiste llevarte una. ¿Lo imaginas?

Por su parte, las chicas de Fifth Harmony hicieron aparición también, recibiendo el premio 'Choice Music Group', hoy se han convertido en favoritas del público. Las integrantes agradecieron a Dios, sus fans y familiares por motivarlas diariamente a continuar con sus objetivos. Además, enviaron un mensaje a todos los jóvenes, invitándolos a aprender a amar.

Luego de ello, el público aplaudió a Vanessa Hudgens, quien fue premiada por su gran trabajo al motivar a las mujeres "a ser la mejor versión", además de su labor en la asociación ‘Make a Wish’. La artista comentó que para ella es muy importante aprender a ser a ser diferentes entre los demás y así poder conocerse y brillar.

Entre los presentaciones en vivo más esperadas para esta edición de los Teen Choice Awards 2017, se encontraron la de Louis Tomlinson y la de Rita Ora.

Nuestro engreído Bruno Mars fue premiado en 'Teen Choice Visionary Award', y por estar de gira, dedicó un video a todos su fans durante el cual agradecía por este reconocimiento ¡pero esto no fue todo!

El intérprete de ‘That’s what i like’ mostró como regalo un adelanto del video oficial de ‘Versace on the floor’, donde aparecía nada más y nada menos que Zendaya. Minutos después, Bruno Mars lanzó este video en su canal de YouTube.

Y como tenía que ser, Ed Sheeran fue premiado en 'Choice Pop Song' con 'Shape of You'. ¡Bien merecido! Fue una noche de premiaciones, diversión, reconocimientos y muchas emociones encontradas. ¿Qué nos traera Teen Choice Awards para su siguiente dición?
